Set Up
- hands apart, alternate grips, knee wrapped over elbow of palm away arm
Note: Kaallugu in the past has been done with the foot and lower leg over the rope, with the knee resting over the hand

- kick strongly with free leg
Judging
Must move around the rope. No jumping.
Acceptable Habits:
- does not matter which hand holds which rope (how ropes cross)
Notes
The basic hand grip but with a leg over one arm. Unlike many of the other moves this one has a higher point value in the reverse direction than the forward direction. For most competitors this is the last opportunity to raise their score because the remaining maneuvers on the list are all expert level.
